"NC GOP gubernatorial nominee reportedly made numerous disturbing remarks on a porn forum, referring to himself as a 'Black Nazi.'"

Mark Robinson, the Republican nominee for North Carolina governor, has come under fire for comments he allegedly made on a pornographic forum over a decade ago. According to reports from *CNN*, Robinson used a pseudonym on the site, referring to himself as a "Black Nazi" and making disturbing comments on topics like abortion and pornography featuring trans women, which are at odds with his public political stances. These revelations have added to the controversies surrounding his candidacy, which already included past inflammatory remarks about the LGBTQ+ community and other social issues. Robinson has denied these allegations, labeling them as "salacious tabloid trash" and blaming his political opponent, Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein, for the reports. However, his candidacy is facing increased scrutiny, with some Republicans calling for him to step down from the race. Despite his history of anti-transgender statements, Mark Robinson reportedly expressed enjoyment in watching transgender pornography, according to a review of archived messages. In these messages, he also referred to himself as a "perv." Robinson has denied making these comments, which predate his political career and current role as North Carolina's lieutenant governor. CNN identified the username as belonging to Robinson by cross-referencing biographical details and a shared email address. Many of Robinson's comments were highly sexual and explicit. These posts, made between 2008 and 2012 on a pornographic website called "Nude Africa," appeared under the username "minisoldr," which Robinson frequently used online. His profile on the site listed his full name and an email address that he had used across various websites for years. CNN has reported only a limited selection of Robinson's comments due to their graphic nature.

Screenshots reveal that North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson used the alias "minisoldr" and the same email associated with his "Nude Africa" account across various social media platforms. While many of these accounts have been inactive for years, the shared username and email suggest a consistent online presence under this identity.

Many of Robinson’s remarks on the "Nude Africa" forum conflict with his public stances on issues like abortion and transgender rights.

Publicly, Robinson has been a vocal critic of transgender rights, arguing that people should use restrooms matching the gender they were assigned at birth. In a February 2024 campaign rally, he stated that transgender women should be arrested for using women's restrooms, saying, "If you’re a man on Friday night, and all of a sudden Saturday, you feel like a woman and want to go in the women’s bathroom in the mall, you will be arrested... We’re going to protect our women."

However, under the username "minisoldr" on "Nude Africa," Robinson privately recounted a sexually explicit memory from his teenage years, where he described spying on women in gym showers. He detailed how this incident remained a source of arousal for him as an adult, writing, "I came to a spot that was a dead end but had two big vent covers over it! It just so happened it overlooked the showers! I sat there for about an hour and watched as several girls came in and showered".
CNN has opted not to publish the explicit details of Robinson's posts. In one message, Robinson recounted how he went "peeping" at women in a gym shower, recalling the experience with nostalgia: "I went peeping again the next morning... but after that, the ladder was locked! So those two times were the only times I got to do it! Ahhhhh memories!!!!"

In other posts, he discussed his interest in transgender pornography, writing, "I like watching tranny on girl porn! That’s f*cking hot! It takes the man out while leaving the man in!... And yeah I’m a ‘perv’ too!"

When confronted by CNN, Robinson denied making the comments, stating, "This is not us. These are not our words. And this is not anything that is characteristic of me." He dismissed the evidence linking him to the username "minisoldr" and called the reports "salacious tabloid lies." Robinson took two days to respond after CNN reached out, and in his response, he emphasized that the issues facing North Carolinians were more important than what he termed "tabloid trash." He also attacked his opponent, Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein, declaring, "We are not getting out of this race. There are people who are counting on us to win this race".

**A Record of Controversial Statements**

During his 2020 campaign for lieutenant governor, Robinson pushed for a total ban on abortion without exceptions. However, in 2022, he expressed regret over having financed an abortion for his now-wife in the 1980s.
Now running for governor, he advocates for a “heartbeat” bill that would prohibit abortions once a heartbeat is detected—around six weeks—with exceptions for rape, incest, and the mother’s health.

However, in a December 2010 post as minisoldr on Nude Africa, Robinson expressed indifference toward a celebrity’s abortion, stating, “I don’t care. I just wanna see the sex tape!”

Robinson has frequently used the username "minisoldr" across

On X (formerly Twitter), he utilized this handle, as evidenced by a screenshot he shared on Facebook in 2018 and data from his earlier tweets.

A YouTube playlist under the name "minisoldr" features only videos of Robinson. On Pinterest, the user "minisoldr" identifies himself as "Mark Robinson."

This username has also posted reviews for products and places that Robinson has publicly endorsed. For instance, an Amazon user named "minisoldr" has reviewed items that Robinson often shares on Facebook, such as remote-controlled helicopters. Additionally, the same email address and username used on Nude Africa have left reviews for two local businesses that Robinson later mentioned on Facebook.
